Four Square Extension & Fitout

ICL Construction are pleased to have delivered the expansion and fitout of the Oakura Four Square. This Design & Build project comprised of increasing the retail floor area, construction of a new commercial kitchen, back of house storage, oading bay facilities and full upgrade and refurbishment of the existing trading hall. The footprint of the building increasing by a third all while the store remained fully operational to the public. Exterior works were also completed to bring new life to the aged building, including painting and extension of the front deck, modernisation of the entry and new loading bay crossing.

During the construction and upgrade the developer opted to structurally strengthen the building which included extensive works below the existing floor, strengthening of the existing walls and roof and bracing of the existing trusses.

The work was completed in stages over 10 months whilst the store remained fully operational.
