Bruce Alexander

Bruce holds a number of qualifications including precast manufacturing and handling, Draughting and holds tickets for the use of cranes, forklifts and overhead gantries.

Bruce started his career in the construction industry in February of 2011, just prior to the Christchurch Earthquake. He spent the next 18 months working in a Christchurch precast factory for C. Lund & Son Ltd.

Bruce was offered a role as a Construction Cadet enrolling in CPIT to study as a part time student whilst still working for C. Lund & Son Ltd.

During this time Bruce worked in many aspects of commercial construction as well as the precast factory gaining experiences as a Scaffolder and Crane Dogman while working with the Surveying team and later as his skills from school developed, Draughting for both Steel works and Precast.

In 2016 Bruce took on the role of Precast Production Supervisor with C. Lund & Son Ltd, overseeing and coordinating the Precast & GRC facilities in Christchurch providing products to some of Christchurch's most significant buildings. This role called for Bruce to work closely with the Commercial team pricing jobs and overseeing the men at the “coal face” through the Precast Foreman, coordinating work flows and ensuring a high level of quality in the teams work.
