Cole Wenmoth

Cole is the Managing Director of ICL Construction and the company’s senior Quantity Surveyor.

He is a licensed building practitioner (LBP-Design) and a professional member both of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NZIQS) and the Architectural Designers New Zealand (ADNZ).

Cole holds a number of qualifications across Construction Management, Architecture & Quantity Surveying.

As a senior manager and company representative, Cole liaises daily with clients and our senior management team members on and off site. His particular strengths are in improving construction projects’ constructibility, safety in design and whole-of-life costs. The benefits of his professional design/quantity surveying background and 18 years’ experience in the construction industry come to the fore on collaborative, early contract involvement (ECI) style contracts.

He takes a leadership role in the overview of plans, specifications and current NZ legislation/standards and was instrumental in developing and integrating our health, safety, quality and environmental management systems and aligning them to international standards. Cole has been involved in the construction industry for the past 18 years and, with his business and life partner Sammy-Jo Wenmoth, have owned ICL Construction since early 2016.

He brings knowledge of business practices, as well as of the communication etiquette required for successful business and relationship growth. Cole has the vision and collaborative work ethic to make things happen.

Prior to Cole's involvement with ICL, he worked as an Architectural Draftsman for 9 years within an architectural practice.
